One Sign That Your Secret Fishing Spot *Might* Be Burnt Up

Keep on walkin'.  No hungry fish here.
Let's make this clear. Corn doesn't kill fish.  However, it does fill their gut (maybe permanently) and make them feel full all the time, thereby decreasing their appetite for your lure (or even your live bait).  Saw this empty can while stalking up a "secret spot" of mine and then just kept walking.....another 100 yards.

Crap, crap, CRAP! And I'm being polite. Maybe someone just had a hankering for succotash flavored trail mix. You never know...

Good point! Hope you were able to find some fish that weren't "corned".

Yeah, I muttered some pretty foul language under my breath and kept hiking up the cove. In shoreline fishing reservoirs, your fishing is exponentially improved the farther you get away from access points.

Problem with that in this case is that the access point was nearest the cold, deep water on a hot, humid, sunny day. I ended up fishing warmer, shallower water - that fishing report will post on monday.

Yeah, not a good sign. I have a small stream near the house that I consider "mine". I tell myself the well worn path along its banks is a "game trail". The origin of bobbers hanging in trees like Christmas ornaments still puzzles me.

My question is WHY would anyone in their right mind want to "fill a fish up?" That seems very stupid!
